GUARANTEE OF ACCURACY
Stocktaking.ie and all of our
Preferred Partners provide a Guarantee of Accuracy to all of our clients.
This ensures that all of the counts which we and our staff undertake are
guaranteed to be 100% correct and accurate.
By providing a Guarantee of Accuracy we ask that our clients must first
ensure the following are carried out prior to the stocktake taking place;

All storage areas
are clear of empty packaging and empty cases

All bottles out
of its original packaging and stored on a shelf is in a straight line and
are stored like with like

All shelves are
stacked in straight lines with labels facing out

All empty kegs
are removed from the stores prior to the stocktake commencing

There are no
mixed cases
-
All full cases
are stored on the bottom. If there is a partially full case then it
must be stored on the top of full cases of the same
type of item

There are no
mixed stacks of cases; eg cases of different types of minerals or
different types of cases sizes ie; Cases of 12’s stored with cases of 24’s

All newspapers,
magazines and cards are sorted and stacked like with like
-
All fridges and
freezers are organised with all products having labels facing out
-
Chest freezers
are defrosted prior to the stocktake taking place so as all old/unused
stock is removed from them so as they are not counted in stock

All returns are
counted separate from regular stock so as you can see the value of the
Returns stock. Do not mix up the returns with regular stock items
-
Stock which is
not to be counted is made clear to us prior to the stocktake taking place

Any additional
requests from us are adhered to/completed prior to the stocktake taking
place
On completion of every count we will print out an Audit Trail of the
area/outlet. This will then be checked by us. Should discrepancies be
spotted then we will make the necessary changes. The audit trail will then
be printed out and given to management. This must then be checked in the
company of Stocktaking.ie personnel.
If the outlet is open for business then it may be possible that some items
are sold and this can result in a small difference between the audit trail
and the rechecked amount due to sales and the time lapsed. We are not liable
for this small difference.
Should discrepancies be highlighted during our visit we will change our
reports to reflect this change. |
